FitKit™ Financial Literacy Middle School Edition
The FitKit Middle School Edition aims to bring personal financial literacy education to 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. This Middle School Edition of the original FitKit/Express is a 6-8 hour, state-of the-art, student oriented, comprehensive school curriculum that includes teacher guides, student books, peer-to-peer videos, power points, assessments, multimedia and interactive features that make the material engaging. The FitKit Middle School Edition is designed to easily integrated within the middle school curriculum and correlates with the High School Edition. All FitKit Personal Finance Programs have been developed with DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation's IDEA Mindset for opportunity populations (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Availability). DoughMain focuses on building the cornerstone knowledge and skills needed for financial success for all and is working to continually evolve the curriculum as well as peer-to-peer video content to be reflective of and meet the challenges of the communities we serve. Additionally, The Middle School Edition covers topics on the entire continuum of personal finance. These include:

- Pay, Benefits and Deductions
- Taxes
- Budgeting
- Banks and Banking
- Savings and Investments
- Credit
- Insurance
The FitKit Middle School Edition Meets or Exceeds the Following Standards:
- National Common Core
- Standards for 21st-Century Life and Career Skills
- National Standards by Council for Economic Education and Jump Start Coalition for Personal Finance Education
The FitKit Middle School Edition mirrors the FitKit60 which has gained recognition as an “Innovative Educational Program” by the State of Pennsylvania 2016-2022, and is receiving national acclaim and approval for use in schools across the country:
- Developed by actual classroom teachers with a sound pedagogic method to be taught in schools through a “from the classroom out” approach
- Focuses solely on personal finance skills rather than the more general financial literacy skills
