Interns and Volunteers 2020
Alex Cahill-Sanidas is a recent graduate of Cornell College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Creative Writing Concentration, while earning a minor in International Relations.
During his time at school, Alex worked as a reporter for the Cornellian, a school-wide newspaper, where he wrote on a range of topics from politics to entertainment, and beyond. Additionally, Alex also interned with the Borgen Project as a content writer, reporting on topics such as the importance of secondary education and the struggling economy of Venezuela. He worked as a Writer for RGNN, speaking on various topics such as the recent peace talks between North and South Korea, and any effects that would come from a treaty between the two countries. Although he is split between political journalism and writing screenplays for television and movies he is sure that his career path is leading him towards creative writing.
Alex has joined the DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation as an associate at the Development team where he would help research and write grants and involve himself in outreach activities. Alex will also provide creative inputs to support the promotion initiatives of the DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation.
Alex, in his free time, loves to read, watch TV and play with his dogs.
