Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees to eligible nonprofit causes.  You, your spouse, or your partner may work for a company whose matching gift program may double or even triple your donation.  This means that for every dollar that you give, your employer gives two or three times that amount.  Therefore, a $100 donation is actually a $200 or $300 donation.  Think of the impact your donation can make!

Companies empower their employees by giving them a say in how the company’s giving budget is allocated.  Also, in allowing employees to choose which charities to donate to, it allows corporate giving revenue to be more evenly distributed to a wider range of nonprofit recipients.
